A. Must meet all Federal Motor Carrier guidelines.
B. Must have a valid Commercial Driver License with proper endorsements, or Chauffeur
License (where applicable) in state of residence.
No current license suspension or revocation.
A work permit is not acceptable.
C. No serious or, disqualifying traffic violations within the last three years as follows:
1 Excessive speeding, involving any single offense for any speed of 15 nup.h. or more above the josted speed limit.
2 Reckless driving, as defined by state or local law or regulation, including but not limited tothe offense àflriving a motor vehicle in
willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property.
3 Improper or erratic lane changes.
4 Following the vehicle ahead too closely.
5 Driving while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
6 Hit and run, leaving the sceue of an accident, or failure to report an accident
D. No more than four (4) moving violations in the past 36 months, and no more than two (2) moving violations in the previous 12
months.
E. No preveittable accidents involving a fatality, bodily injuries treated away from the scene, or disabling damage to a motor vehicle
within three years. (Disabling damage means damage that precludes departure of any motor vehicle from the scene of an accident in
its usual manner in daylight after simple repairs. This includes damaged vehicles that are driveable, but would incur further damage, if
so driven.)
F. A minimum of two (2) years experience in the operation of tractor/trailer equipment.
C Must be 23 years old. (Drivers 25 years old and older are encouraged.)
Background Investigation
The following reasons are deemed unfavorable and would be grounds for termination and/or disqualification for employment with
Towne Air Freight or any of its entities. The employee and/or candidate will be disqualified for employment if he or she was convicted*
or found not guilty by reason of insanity within the last seven years. was released from prison within the last five years. or is wanted or
under indictment for any of the following crimes:
• Murder
• Assault with the intent to murder
• Kidnapping or hostage taking
• Rape or aggravated sexual abuse
• Extortion
• • Robbery
• Bribery
• Smuggling
• Immigration Violations
• RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corruption Organizations Act) Violations
• Distribution of, intent to distribute, possession, or importation of a controlled substance (State
laws on the quantity of marijuana required for the offense to be considered a felony, vary.
Typically, however, to be convicted of felony marijuana possession a person must possess a
quantity of marijuana greater than an amount considered for “personal use”.)
• Dishonesty, fraud, or misrepresentation, including identity fraud (e.g., felony-level:
embezzlement, tax evasion, perjury, and false statements to the Federal government)
• UnlawThi possession, use, sale, distribution, or manufacture of an explosive device, firearm or other weapon.
• Conspiracy or attempt to commit any of these crimes:
o Terrorism
o Espionage
o Sedition

Requirements:
To qualify for coverage under the guarantee, the driver or team must be 100% available for the full amount of legal hours of service
in a given week. They will not qualify if their capacity is reduced for any of the following reasons:
-Voluntarily scheduled off
-OOS due to roadside violation
-OOS due to Safety or compliance
-Shut down due to an accident
-Shut down due to mechanical or in for equipment service
-Turn down a run for any reason other than out of hours
The driver or team must have PeopleNet with Towne
The guarantee will not apply to holiday weeks (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and
Christmas Day) or in situations where operations are disrupted by outside influences beyond company control like severe weather.
