Driver Opportunities
Contract Drivers:  A driver without a Class A
CDL.  A Driver with a Class A CDL who has no
T/T experience and has graduated from a driving
school more than a year ago.
Two weeks of schooling ( Cedar Rapids , IA or
Fontana , CA ).

Non Contract Drivers:  Recent (within 60 days)
driving school graduates.
Refresher Course

Experience Drivers: Minimum of 4 months of
OTR experience in the past 12 months.

drivers’ 401K up to a maximum of 6% of the
driver’s pay contributed to the plan.
Vacation Pay                 1 week after 1 year = $300

Driver Requirements   
•       Minimum hiring age-21 years old
•       Must possess US license for the past 36
months
•       Will allow 30 days to switch license from old
location to new location.  The old location has to be
within our hiring area.
•       No DUIs in the last 5 years.  No DUIs in a
Commercial Vehicle ever.  No more than 1 DUI in
the past 15 years, no more than 2 in a lifetime.
•       No felonies in the last 10 years/misdemeanors
in the last 3 years.
•       No more than 2 suspensions in the last 5
years.  Each suspension cannot be longer than 12
months in duration.  In the last 3 years total
suspension time should not exceed 16 months.
•        No drug test refusals
•        No drug convictions of any kind at any time.
•        No reckless/careless driving in the last 5
years.  No rollover accidents.
•       No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3
years-no serious moving violations in the past 36
months
•       No more than 3 jobs in the last 12 months and
no more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years.  No more
than 15 months of unemployment over the last 3
years for all hires.
•       Cannot be Terminated from last Driving Job
•       All preventable accidents in that last 5 years
must be reviewed by the Safety Dept. All DOT
accidents require a copy of the police report and
must be approved by the Safety Dept.
•       No preventable DOT reportable accidents in
the last 2 years
•       Serious Violations
o      Illegal Lane Change
o      +20 Speeding
o      Following too closely
o      Improper or erratic lane changes
o      Driving a CMV without a CDL

Lease Purchase

Zero Money Down

Equipment for lease is late model 2006 and
2007 Freightliner class Columbia. All trucks are
former CRST fleet trucks with approximately 500k
- 600k miles.

All CRST lease purchase unit come with a
guranteed bumper to bumper maintenance
program which ensures that you will not be stuck
on the road with no source of revenue if the
tractor breaks down.

The lease will vary by which year tractor you are
assigned.  The length of the lease typically runs
between 2 and 3 years.

Lease comes withe option to purchase the truck
after the term of the lease has been completed.  
A very affordable $5000 balloon/buyout payment
is all that stands between you and owing the
tractor outright.  You can simply make the
payment all at once or continue to make weekly
truck payments which CRST will apply towards
the $5000 buyout.

Independent Contractors are paid at a rate of
70% of the gross revenue of the load and 100%
of fuel surcharge.  70% equals approximately .95
